From 2009 to 2011 Womex took place in Copenhagen as a huge World Music convention. Music professionals gathered for workshops and meetings -and every night featured more than 20 showcase concerts with great artists from all over the world. 2250 professional delegates from 98 countries attended in 2011 alone, and the evening concerts were open for the public, giving a unique chance to experience a fantastic crowd of international musicians.
This book documents the three Copenhagen years with more than 200 photos by official Womex photographer Jacob Crawfurd.
